Two short-term residential programs which provide case management and educational opportunities for adults.
Affordable Housing
Talbot House Ministries owns and operates 46 units of affordable housing. We also partner with Plateau Village to provide referrals and wraparound services to an additional 36 households.
Good Samaritan Clinic
The Good Samaritan Free Clinic offers free medical, dental, and mental health care to uninsured, low-income individuals in Polk County. Appointment only.
Solutions
Talbot House’s comprehensive training and employment program focuses on overcoming barriers to achieving stable, gainful employment.
In Pursuit of Self-Sufficiency
At Talbot House, we plant seeds of hope with everyone who comes through our doors by meeting their basic needs.
Our programs for the homeless in our community empower the individual to learn self-sufficiency.
Beyond that, we are blessed to be able to facilitate long-term life renewal by showing them a way forward through assistance from the Good Samaritan Free Clinic, Solutions employment program, and multiple affordable housing options.
