The Good Samaritan Free Clinic


The Good Samaritan Free Clinic was established in the mid-1990’s by a local physician and three nurse practitioners who saw the need for basic medical care for the homeless. Our staff includes an APRN, RN, and dental hygienist, and is supported by volunteer medical professionals from across Polk County. These services include:
The Good Samaritan Free Clinic provides over 3,200 healthcare services annually. All care, supplies, and medications are free of charge. To be seen in the clinic, patients must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be uninsured and not receiving any insurance of any kind.
- Must have a Polk County Identification
- Must meet income requirements (less than 200% of federal poverty guidelines)
