T.H.E. SOLUTION

The Solutions program is Talbot House Ministries’ comprehensive training and employment program. Its goal is to assist people in overcoming the barriers hindering them from achieving stable, gainful employment.

In 2010, Talbot House began placing a greater emphasis on job skills training and placement for our clients. Our transitional programs had always taught clients new job skills, and worked to secure employment. But something more was needed to give clients the extra edge in the marketplace, a program that would exclusively focus on helping clients prepare for and obtain employment.

In 2011, Talbot House became approved by the State of Florida to provide on-the-job training and contract Vocational Rehabilitation employment services. Solutions helps find employment for clients referred to us by the Department of Education/Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, as well as clients in Talbot House’s residential programs. We help individuals obtain and maintain stable employment, helping end homelessness and poverty before it begins.
