Talbot House Ministries is proud to announce our upcoming fundraising banquet: Onward and Upward!
We were heartbroken watching the world shut down around us due to the coronavirus pandemic. As families struggled to pay the bills and put food on the table, Talbot House wondered what the pandemic would mean for our ministry and the hundreds who depend on our doors being open. Thanks to you, our donors and supporters, we were able to shelter, clothe, and feed the hundreds who came to Talbot House for help during the pandemic.
As we look forward, we are excited to hold our first fundraising banquet in over two years! The proceeds of this fundraiser will support the mission of Talbot House, enabling us to move individuals from homelessness into housing and stability.
Save the date for Onward and Upward, Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the SUN ‘n FUN Skylight Hangar.
Talbot House must raise nearly $3.2 million annually to operate our shelter, recovery program, employment and training program, and medical clinic. In return, Talbot House, through its direct purchases and in-kind support for the poor, contributes over $8.5 million back to our community.
This is a free event and everyone is invited! If you cannot attend in person, we hope you join us virtually as we live stream the event.
You can expect dinner, entertainment, client testimonies, and a silent auction. Our speaker for the night will be Polk County’s own, Sheriff Grady Judd!
Would you like to donate an item for the auction? Are you interested in sponsoring this event? Please contact us at 863-687-8475 ext. 120 or email@example.com for more information.
We hope to see you at Onward and Upward!
