The Good Samaritan Free Clinic has been very busy during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it is also preparing engaging activities to promote healthier living among its patients.

At Talbot House Ministries, we believe everyone should have access to resources and support they need to live their best lives! We aim to bridge the gap for our patients by offering a wide range of daily wellness services.

On Tuesday, June 16 beginning at 10:15 a.m., the Clinic will host a program providing free tools to quit smoking and tobacco use. Thanks to Tobacco Free Florida, the Good Samaritan Free Clinic will offer this program at no cost to its patients.

On Wednesday, June 24 beginning at 9:00 a.m., the Clinic will be celebrating Women’s Health Day! By registering at the Good Samaritan Free Clinic, patients will receive women’s health checkups including pelvic exams, clinical breast exams, and more. Women ages 21 to 65 will have access to additional testing and receive a surprise gift as well.

Olga Nicolas, Clinical Director, states: “Being a nurse practitioner is my way of responding to the call of helping people in their journey to attain and maintain a better lifestyle.” She is already planning additional future events which will focus on maintaining wellness of mind and body.
