Talbot House Ministries is pleased to introduce our new Food Service Manager, Rebecca Williams!
Rebecca brings sixteen years of food service experience to Talbot House Ministries. She has held leadership positions at restaurants including Golden Corral, Denny’s, and Bob Evans. Rebecca is a talented cook, but also a skilled trainer. She hopes to use her abilities to teach our residents about cooking while elevating the quality of the food offered on campus.
“I love Talbot House,” Rebecca says. “My goal is to change the perception of food provided in a shelter and teach people recipes and Health Department standards that they can use not only as life skills but also as job skills.” In addition to instructing residents in basic food service skills, she hopes to partner with the Good Samaritan Free Clinic to teach our clients more about nutrition and maintaining a balanced diet.
Rebecca is a graduate of Haines City High School. She spends her spare time with her eight children and two grandchildren, cooking at home, and listening to music. Please join us in welcoming Rebecca to Talbot House Ministries!
