Last year was undoubtedly challenging for everyone, but Christmas is a time to spread love, joy, and hope. With the help of dedicated supporters, we served over 250 hot meals on Christmas Day, provided 80 families in need with gifts, and shared the joy of the season with 60 residents. Volunteers gave out hand-painted gift packs and sent in letters of hope; others donated warm clothing, bedding, and snacks to help us through the winter. These acts spread the Christmas spirit and alleviated some of the stress from the year.

In December, Talbot House also saw more than 30 volunteers who served a collective 146 hours, showing that even through a global crisis, our community can rally to help those in need. We are thankful to those church groups, businesses, and families who sacrificed their time to show others kindness! Below are just a few of our Christmas angels this year:

The holidays can be challenging for those experiencing homelessness, unemployment, or other losses. Little acts of kindness truly make a world of difference to our clients, and we are so grateful for the outpouring of love we experienced.

In a year like no other, we are beyond appreciative to those that gave as they were able of their time, treasure, and talents to share God’s love over the holidays. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
