From homeless to homeowner, Eber has seen it all during his time with Talbot House Ministries!
We are so proud to share that after years of hard work, Eber became the proud owner of his own condominium last month. A special thanks goes to Mindy Emerson Hunley with Tribute Realty and Sarah Stiegler for working with Eber throughout this process. They heard Eber giving his testimony at the Onward and Upward banquet last fall, and felt called to help him achieve his goal of homeownership.

Those who have experienced homelessness have a harder time achieving homeownership than others, particularly in today’s competitive housing market. Previous evictions, credit scores, and limited income can all prevent hardworking men and women from purchasing their own homes – even if they have substantial savings. For these reasons, Eber’s accomplishment is all the more impressive.
