We invite you to join us on Thursday, October 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the SUN ‘n FUN Skylight Hangar for Talbot House Ministries’ Onward and Upward fundraising banquet!
Throughout the evening, you will hear clients share their stories of overcoming substance abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness. You will hear of the struggles of physical disability and mental illness. Happenings that derailed and almost ended their lives—until they found hope.
Through the love of God, Talbot House Ministries is able to lift men and women “Onward and Upward” toward life renewal. But our work cannot be accomplished without the help of donors, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters.
As part of our fundraising banquet, you will have the opportunity to take part in raffles and a silent auction. Our silent auction will open virtually early October and you can expect to see sports tickets, attraction tickets, gift certificates to local businesses, and more! Funds raised will help us continue our mission—to provide those in need with immediate basic services and opportunities for life renewal.
Talbot House clients are thrilled to see their community come together in support of their journey to self-sufficiency. Residents have said, “It feels good to know that there are people who care about those in need,” and, “I’m so happy that people will have the opportunity to see the work that Talbot House does.”
